Low-emission vehicles – improving the EU’s refuelling/recharging infrastructure

Feedback period: 06 April 2020 – 29 June 2020 (midnight Brussels time)

The European Commission is inviting the general public and stakeholders to express their opinion and share information on the impact of the existing Directive as well as on possible additional policy measures for its revision and their expected potential impacts. Specifically, users of alternative fuelled vehicles and the related infrastructure are invited to respond to share first hand experience with the use of refuelling and recharging infrastructure throughout Europe. In addition, the consultation targets stakeholders representing all transport modes (road, shipping, aviation, rail) and all alternative fuels as well as all stakeholders engaged in the development, installation or operation of alternative fuels infrastructure. Information received in this consultation will support the evaluation and the Impact Assessment that the European Commission is currently carrying out.

You can contribute to this consultation by filling in the online questionnaire. If you are unable to use the online questionnaire, please contact us using the email address below.
Questionnaires are available in some or all official EU languages. You can submit your responses in any official EU language.
For reasons of transparency, organisations and businesses taking part in public consultations are asked to register in the EU’s Transparency Register.
