About: New recharging stations for electric vehicles installed in big municipality financed from Environmental Fund Administration

The objective of the Program is to develop the infrastructure for the supply of electric vehicles. Eligible applicants are the administrative-territorial units – county residences and the municipality of Bucharest, and the amount allocated to the financing session is 92 million lei (~18 mil eur).

The financing is granted in a percentage of maximum 90% of the eligible expenses and not more than
190,000 lei for the installation of a recharge station, within the limit of the maximum amounts that can be granted for each applicant according to the number of inhabitants, according to the data provided by the National Institute of Statistics, these being published on the AFM website.

The Administration of the Environment Fund approved on Wednesday November 20, 2019, a new project within the Program regarding the installation of recharging stations for electric vehicles in the county resident municipalities, respectively the one of the Calarasi Municipality, which will receive a funding of 715.085.28 lei (~143.000 eur), for mounting a number of 4 recharging stations with 8 equivalent fast recharging points.

The new project contributes, together with the 11 approved so far, to the development of the network of recharging stations that the Ministry of Environment and the Administration of the Environment Fund have proposed to develop at the level of the county resident municipalities, in the efforts to reduce the emissions resulting from transport. and in accordance with national climate change strategies.

The status of the approved projects is as follows:
