The builder and supplier Electrogrup has taken over the site and will shortly start the execution of the contract for the installation of 16 recharging stations for electric vehicles in the public parking lots in Oradea.

The project is financed through the Environmental Fund Administration by the City Hall of Oradea through the Directorate for Management of Projects with International Financing.

A number of 16 charging stations for electric vehicles will be installed in public parking lots in Oradea, on the streets: Codrilor – Aquapark Nymphaea, Traian Park, Danube, Tudor Vladimirescu, Stefan cel Mare, City Hall, M. Kogălniceanu, University, Splaiul Crișanei, Meiului, Islazului, Xenopol, Nufărului, B-dul Dacia and Ogorului.

On August 19, 2021, the site was handed over to the builder and supplier S.C Electrogrup S.A., which will soon begin the execution of the contract. Their installation is possible through the project implemented by Oradea City Hall through the Project Management Department with International Financing – “Reducing greenhouse gas emissions in transport, by installing recharging stations for electric vehicles in Oradea”. The project is funded by the Administration of the Environmental Fund – “Program on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in transport, by promoting the infrastructure for energy-free road transport vehicles: charging stations for electric vehicles in county seat municipalities” . Its value is 3,673,284.36 lei including VAT. The non-reimbursable financing is 86.85%, and the own contribution of Oradea municipality is 13.15% of the eligible value. The objective of the project is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in transport in Oradea.

The execution of the contract follows, respectively the electrical connections will be made from the transformation points of the electricity supplier to the delimitation point (according to the connection notice); construction of electrical installations from the delimitation point to the recharging stations (according to the connection notice); installation, installation and commissioning of the 16 recharging stations; construction and assembly works; construction and installation of parking panels for the 16 recharging stations. The term of execution of the works and supply of the recharging stations is 6 months.

The total value of the investment is 3.67 million lei, of which the non-reimbursable financing is 86.85%.

The objective of the project is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in transports in Oradea.
