Starting on January 1st, 2019, 12 years after becoming a member of the European Union, Romania has took over Presidency of the most important European institution – the Council of the European Union.
Therefore, for half a year, Romania is at the center of European decision-making, playing an important role in facilitating the process of reflection on how to develop and consolidate a European project, a process to develop the “acquis communautaire” and strengthening cooperation between the Member States of the European Union, too. In the context of Romanian Presidency at the Council of the European Union, the Ministry of Economy organizes a series of events and actions with the participation of representatives of the European Commission, the Romanian Government, the European Parliament, the Member States Ministers of Economy, as well as the participation of representatives of the business and of the profile associations and mass media.
The event is organized by the Romanian Ministry of Economy.
