Renovatio E-Charge grows over EU funding

With Next-E Charging Network around the corner better news arrive from Renovatio E-Charge.

Next-E - E.ON and MOL Romania's project was selected to receive funds through the Mechanism Connecting Europe Facility — CEF of the European Commission, with a recommended financing of €18.84m for installing EV charging infrastructure.

We have great news. A similar EU funding project started this week:

Renovatio E-Charge and Telekom Croatia with support of Volkswagen and Kaufland Romania, will install 74 fast loading stations (50kW DC) - 58 in #Romania and 16 in #Croatia and 4 ultra-fast stations (min 150kW DC) - 3 in Romania and 1 in Croatia in the next 3 years. At the same time, a new #platform of the e-charge network will be implemented, which will provide, among other things: real-time information about station status, a payment system, as well as linking to European ePay platforms (e.g., #Hubject).

The 31 locations within the project (the #TenT main network corridors) will have 2 fast charging stations (4x stations for two locations in Bucharest and one in Zagreb) and #Timisoara, #Sibiu, #Bucuresti and #Zagreb ultra-fast stations will be installed, which will serve the new generations of #electric vehicles.
