8 models of electric cars available through the Rabla Plus Program.

More and more Romanians are considering purchasing an electric-powered car through the Rabla Plus Program, which offers 10.000 euros as a subsidy for the purchase of an EV.
The grant awarded under the Rabla Plus program represents around 45.000 lei for the acquisition of a new 100% electric vehicle or 20.000 lei for the purchase of a new electric plug-in hybrid vehicle with an external power supply.
The electric car offers on the local market show that Romanians who want such a vehicle have a limited range of models.
The cheapest electric vehicle currently available is Volkswagen e-Up! with a price of 25.838 euros, which can lead it, with the state bonuses at just 15.838 euros (Rabla Plus) or even at 14.400 euros if a car older than eight years is also scrapped.

Another small sized model with a relatively low price for an electric car is the Mitsubishi i-MiEV. It costs 31.200 euros, which, in combination with Rabla Plus, drops at 21.200 euros and even at 19.750 euros if the buyer scraps an old vehicle, thus obtaining the Rabla Clasic bonus.
A price close to that of i-MiEV has the new Renault Zoe, at a basic price of about 31.000 euros. Thus, with the bonuses Rabla Plus and Rabla Clasic, the new Zoe could cost about 20.000 euros.
