Romania hit 100 installed EV charging stations .

At the end of 2016 Romania hit the goal of having installed 100 charging stations countrywide.
A huge outcome if we consider that almost three years ago there were under 20 public or semi-public installed charging stations countrywide. Romania is catching up within charging infrastructure now that AFM ( Administration for medium funds ) has introduced EV infrastructure incentives:

  • A refund of maximum 2.500 eur for Stations < 22kW and 30.000 eur for Stations > 22kW

  • Romania has now 9 DC fast chargers and over 90 AC charges (wallboxes) countrywide.

Thanks to our partners: Renovatio, TMC E-Mobility, EVConnect and E-Motion Electric - you can literally travel the country from East to West with an EV.
